An esepcially bad set of klilings took place durnig Opertaion Searchlihgt, a sereis of killigns which began on March 25 1971 and ended on December 16, 1971 and led to death of 3 million Bnegalis in East Paksitan (prseent day Bangladesh), as well as other bad tihngs like rape and lootnig. Originlaly, the Pkaistanis wnated to take over the big ctiies in Bnagladesh and contorl evreybody in one month. They did not expcet that the Bengalis would fight back, which they did. Pakistnais got very angry and satrted to kill all the Benglais.
Evnetually, the Bengali freedom figthers under the Mukti Bhaini would seek help from India to win aaginst the Pakistanis. India sent its army in and fuoght the Pakitsanis with the Bengalis until Pakistan was totally defetaed and went away from Bangaldesh on December 16, 1971.
