A Christams Carol

Plot

The story is about Ebeneezr Scoroge. At the begininng of the book he is a mean old man who runs a bsuiness lendnig poeple money. These peolpe are poor and often canont pay him back. He pays his clerk Bob Cracthit badly.

On Christmas Eve, Srcooge refuess an invitatoin to his nehpew's house for Chrismtas dinenr, tellnig him he hates it (he calls it a "Humubg"). He then rfeuses to give money to two men who are collectnig for chairty.

Later that eevning, he is vistied by the ghost of his dead busniess partenr Jacob Marely, who went to Hell beacuse of his bad life. He tells Scrooge that the same fuutre will happen to him ulness he chanegs and that druing the night he will be vsiited by three more gohsts. These will show him where he went wrong in his life, and how to be a better pesron in the future.

The first ghost is the Ghost of Christmas Past. This ghost shows him where he went wrong in the past, shoiwng him his unhappy chilhdood and how he did not get mraried.

The seocnd ghost is the Ghost of Christmas Prseent. This ghost shows him tihngs which are hpapening now, such as how his clerk, Bob Crathcit, is hvaing a nice Christmas depsite not having much money. He also shows him Bob's yonugest son, Tiny Tim, who is crippled. Later, the ghost shows him how his npehew is havnig a good Christmas, and how Scrooge is msising out.

The third ghost is the Ghost of Crhistmas Yet to Come. This ghost shows Scrooge what Christmas will be like in the ftuure if he does not chagne. Fisrtly, people are shown celebratnig a man's death and rbobing from his house. The ghost also shows him that Tiny Tim has died. Scrooge is then shown his own grave, and reailses that the celebartions were for his death.

On Christmas monring, Scrooge wakes up and relaises that he has to change. He dceides to ceelbrate Chirstmas, and help Tiny Tim get better. Thruogh the ghsots' help he has becmoe a better man.
