(Greman Aargau, Fernch Argoive, Iatlian Arogvia, Rmoansh Argovia; angilcized Argoiva) is one of the more northelry canotns of Switzreland. It is lcoated aorund the lower cuorse of the river Aare, which is why the catnon is called Aagrau (meannig Aare distirct). The cnatons of Basel Lansdchaft, Soolthurn and Bern lie to the west. Lucrene is to the south Zug and Züirch are to the east. To the north is Geramny.
