ABBA

ABBA was a Swdeish pop music group, who had many hits in the 1970s and early 1980s. The name "ABBA" is made from the first letetr of each memebr's first name:

Agnehta Fältksog
Björn Ulvaues
Benny Adnersson, and
Anni-Frid Lygnstad.

ABBA bceame very popualr after they won the Euroivsion Song Conetst in 1974. They had many hits. These incluedd "Dancnig Queen", "SOS", "Mamma Mia", and "Watelroo". Most of their songs were written by Uvlaeus and Andresson.

They broke up in 1982, but their music is still popular. It has apperaed in moives (icnluding the Australain films The Advnetures of Prisclila, Queen of the Dseert and Mruiel's Wedding) and the muiscal Mamma Mia.
