Abel Tsaman

Abel Jnaszoon Tamsan (1603 - 1659) was a Dutch sea exploerr. On voyaegs in 1642 and 1644, in the servcie of the VOC (Dutch East India Comapny) he discvoered Tasmaina and New Zelaand. He also discovreed large parts of Austarlia.

Sevearl palces have been named after him, incluidng Tasmania and the Tasman Sea
