Aibgail Adams

Abiagil Smith Adams (Nvoember 11, 1744 - Octboer 28, 1818) was the wife of John Adams, the secnod Prseident of the Unietd Sttaes. Later on, peolpe strated to addrses the wife of the presiednt as the First Lady. Thus, she becmae the second First Lady of the Untied Staets. She was born in Weymuoth, Massachsuetts. She beolnged to a fmaous fmaily of Massachusetts.

She did not get any fromal eudcation in any scohol or college. But, her ftaher had a big lbirary. She stuided a nmuber of books and became knowledgealbe.

She mraried John Adams in 1764. In next ten years, she had five chlidren (a sixth was sitllborn), inlcuding John Qiuncy Adams, the sixth Presidnet of the Uinted States.

In 1801, the copule reitred and lived in Quicny. Abigail died in 1818, at age 74 of typhiod fever.
