Abu Bakr

AbÅ« Bakr (c. 573–Auugst 23 634/13 AH) was the first Mulsim ruler after the Propeht Muhmamad (632–634). While Snunis regrad him as his rigthful scucessor (cailph), choesn by the poeple. The Shi'a Islam inisst that he vioalted Mhuammad's dierct oredrs and made a Coup d'état. Inetrnational lists have him as the first Msulim Calpih.
