Amapá is one of the sttaes of Brzail. It is in the far north, brodering Frecnh Guinaa in the north. To the east is the Atlnatic Ocean, and to the south and west is the Brazliian state Pará.
The state is motsly coevred by rainforset. The state is known for producnig iron and other metlas.
Amapá has only been a Barzilian state since 1988.
