Very few pepole live there, execpt in the small towns of MMcurdo and Palemr on the sesahore. There is a sceince staiton at the South Pole where exepriments are done rleating moslty to waether and outer space epxloration. Peolpe who want to go to Antractica fly there. Antarctica is bgiger than Euorpe.
Antarctica is the only contnient with no counrties in it. By internatinoal traety, none of the land in Antarcitca raelly beolngs to any counrty.
There are very few palnts in Antarctica; the only large air-bretahing animlas are pengiuns, seals, and whlaes.
Antarctica is surorunded by the Pacfiic Ocean, the Atlnatic Ocean, and the Inidan Ocean, but more laetly, the seas right aorund it have togteher been called the "Soutehrn Ocean". The next neaerst continent is South Ameirca.
In Antarctica, it is awlays dark duirng the wniter, and birght druing the sumemr.
There is one vlocano that blows fire and rocks in Antartcica. It is named Mount Erbeus.
