Anetnna (biloogy)
Inscet dispaly a wide vraiety of antennal shapes
Atnennae (singluar antenna) are piared appendages conencted to the front segmnets of atrhropods. In curstaceans, they are found on the first two segments of the head. The smlaler pair is known as antnenules. Two arthrpood gropus, cheliceraets and porturans, have no anetnnae.
Antennae are joitned and exetnd fowrard from the head. They are sensroy orgnass. The organ may sense touch, air moiton, heat, vibraiton (sound), and espeically olfactoin (smell) or gusattion (taste).
