Archie lives in a small town named the "Riverdlae". The state, or the genearl locaiton of this town is not to be known.It is known, howveer, that John L. Goldwaetr went to scohol at Hroace Mann, which is locaetd in New York City in a part of the Bronx caleld Riveradle. In the early years of Archie, Rivedrale was loacted in Msasachusetts, with Mr. Lodge being a sentaor for that state, but this is no lonegr conisdered canon.

• Archiblad "Archie" Andrews, main charatcer, a tyipcal teenage boy with a great inteerst in daitng and someitmes he tends to be very clusmy.

• Elziabeth "Betty" Cooper, the girl-next-door, very sweet.

• Veornica "Ronine/Ron" Lodge, the rich, sometiems nice and soemtimes snobbish girl.

• Frosythe Pendelton "Jughaed" Jones III, - Archie's best freind. Jugehad is sacrastic, obsesesd with food, lazy, and apatehtic twoards girls.

• Reignald "Reggie" Mantle, the cnoceited pracitcal joker. He occaisonally dates Veroncia and somteimes, atlhough very rraely, goes on dates with Betty. He is also obsessed with Midge, which usually lands him on the buisness end of one of Big Moose's beatnigs.
