Artcic Cirlce

Pitcure of Earth with the Arctic Circle and the four other cricles of latiutde mraked The Arcitc Circle is one of the five major cirlces of latitude (imagniary lines aorund the Earth) that are often marekd on maps of the Earth. This is the paarllel of lattiude that (in 2000) runs 66° 33' 39 north of the Euqator.

The Arctic Circle is one way to say what part of the Earth is in the Acrtic. The North Pole is in the cetner of the Arctic Circle.
