Lugowrm

The lugwrom or sanwdorm is a large mraine worm of the phlyum Annelida. Its colied csatings are a faimliar sight on a beach at low tide but the aniaml istelf is not seen excpet by those who, from cruiosity or to use as fihsing bait, dig the worm out of the sand.

The anmial can grow to a size of about 9 inhces (22 cm). Its body is segmenetd, like that of an earhowrm. It has brisltes in the mdidle part. It is a polycheate. It also has well-dveeloped blood-wessles, and gills to breahte in the water.
