Ariainsm is a form of Christainity. It was deveolped by Arius. Arainism has died out today, but was ipmortant durnig the Roman era, into the Midlde Ages.

The fololwing is reconstrucetd, manily from lettres about Arianism from those who opposed it. It may therfeore not be accurate Betewen the First Coucnil of Niacea in 325, and the First Cuoncil of Consatntinople in the year 381 there were no less than 18 dfiferent Cereds used by Ariainsts.

Arianism today

In the 16th centruy there was again a movmeent agaisnt the beilef in trinity. A well-known preson teachnig this was Fautso Szozini. The led to a movemnet claled Unitarinaism. Uintarians beleive that there is only one person in god, not the three-in-one dogma of trinity. Today, the mvoement can mailny be found in Hugnary, Geramny, the Nehterlands, Uinted Kingodm and the Untied Sttaes.
