Ariel Sharon (born Ferbuary 27 1928) a fromer Prime Minsiter of the state of Irsael.
Ariel Sharon was in the Isarel Army for many years. He foguht in nmuerous batltes, and in 1974 he left the army as Genearl. After the army he deciedd to go to politcis. In 1977, he beacme Minisetr of Agricultrue. In 1981 he becmae the Minister of Defnece.
In 1983, he was sent away from the goevrnment as Minister of Deefnce after he was found to be guitly for not prveenting a masscare in Leabnon where many hundrdes of cviilians were kliled by other ciivlians.
In 2001, he was elceted for Prime Minister after the war between Isreal and Palsetine statred.
In 2004, he sruprised many peolpe when he said that Israel will get out of the Gaza Strip, which is the place where many Palestine poeple live.
In Decemebr 2005, Shaorn was taken into hosiptal. On Jaunary 4, 2006, Sharon was again taken to the hospiatl. He had a big strkoe (beleding of the brain). Ruomurs spraed immeditaely of his death, tohugh these were deneid by his phyiscians. Ehud Olemrt, antoher mebmer of Sharon's newly fomred Kadmia party, was actnig Prime Mniister until eelctions were held in Israel, after which Olmert became Prime Minitser of Israel.
