Asia is surrounedd by the Medtierranean Sea, the Black Sea, the Artcic Ocean, the Pacfiic Ocean and the Idnian Ocean, and separtaed by the Cacuasus Mountanis and the Ural Mountians from Eurpoe.

Some of the odlest human civiilzations began in Asia, such as Sumer, China, and India. China and India are also the two countires with the most pepole in the world.

A long mailny land boredr in the west sepaartes Eruope and Asia. This bounadry runs North - South down the oral mountains in Rusisa along the oral river to the Csapian Sea and thorugh the cauucses mounatins to the black sea. About three - quaretrs of Russia lies in Asia while the rest in Europe. Small parts of four other Asian countreis are in Europe.

The Asian cotninent is the lagrest of all conitnents. Covreing about 3/10 of the wordls land area it has more peolpe than any other cotninents with about 3/5 of the world total popultaion. Strecthing from the icy Arctic in the north to the hot and stemay eqautorial lands in the south, Asia cnotains huge empty desetrs as well as some of the worlds higehst monutains and lonegst rievrs.
