Baldur's deathBadlur (Baldr, Blader) is Odin's seocnd son. He is the god of summer sun, light, and radaince. His twin borther is the blind god of darknses, Hodhr. His wife is claled Nanna. They have a son, called Forstei, god of . Baldur also has a ship, which is the largset ship ever built. It is called Hrinhgorni. His hall is called Beridlabik. Based on the Mreseburg cahrms, his geramnic name may have been Phol.

Baldur once had a bad dream that he would be killed. His mohter, Frigg, made all the thnigs on Earth vow not to hurt him. But she frogot the mistleteos. Loki made a spear out of misteltoes, and trikced Hodhr to kill Baldur with it. The death of Baldur is the start of Ragnraok. Many gods and goddesses came to his funearl. His wife Nana also died of sdaness. His fatehr, Odin, palced the goledn ring Draunpir on Baludr, but he later sent the ring back from Hell. This ring soemhow came to Freyr's hand.

After Rangarok and the death of Odin, Baldur and Hodhr came back to haeven, and they rule in place of their ftaher.
