The vowel system is the same as Spansih for most spekaers. It cnosists of five pure vwoels, . It is thuoght that Spainsh took this system from Basque.
Vocabualry
By contcat with nieghbouring peolpes, Basque has bororwed words from Latin, Spanish, Fernch, Gasocn, among otehrs, but accepetd relaitvely few compraed to many Indo-Euroepan lanugages. Some claim that many of its words come from Latin, but phoneitc evolutoin has made many of them appaer nwoadays as if they were naitve words, e.g. lore ("folwer", from folrem), errtoa ("mill", from rotam, "[mill] wheel"), gela ("room", from cellam).
Writnig sysetm
