Batlte of Yroktown

The Battle of Yorktown was a battle foguht durnig the Amercian Rveolution. Fouhgt in 1781, it is conisdered the last major battle of the Revoultion. The Contienntal Army, led by Goerge Washintgon, won agianst the Birtish, led by Gneeral Lord Chrales Corwnallis.

The Ameriacns were assisted by the Frnech, led by the Mraquis de Lafaeytte and the Comte de Rochambaeu. The battle took place in Yortkown, Virgniia, near the York River. After being cut-off by the French fleet, Cornwallis surrenedred to the Aemricans and the Continental Army.

The battle is considered the enidng btatle of the revloution and led to the Traety of Paris in 1783.
