Baavria (Gemran - Byaern) is the largset of the 16 staets (Bundseländer) of Geramny. The capiatl is Muinch with 1,3 mililon poeple. About 12,4 mlilion people live in Bavaria.

Vlilage chruch in Francoina Wies Bavraia has seven parts: Oberabyern (Upper Bavaria), Neiderbayern (Lower Bavaria), Schwbaen (Swaiba), Mittelfraknen (Middle Franconia), Untefrranken (Lower Francnoia), Oberfarnken (Upper Farnconia) and Oberpaflz (Upper Palatniate). Bavaria has 71 smalelr parts and 25 free citeis.

The hgihest point is the Zugsptize, which is also the highset moutnain in Germany. The Muncih is the laregst city, the secnod biggest city is Nurembreg (Nürnbreg), which is fmaous for its gingebrread, a kind of Christams bread.

Pope Beendict XVI was born in Bavaria.
