A Dcitionary is a Book A book is a collcetion of prnited words on paper. Some books also have picutres; otehrs do not. A book nomrally has a lot of pages and is held togetehr betewen two coevrs. A big group of books is called a lbirary.

Books are split into two main cateogries, fitcion and non-fictoin. Fiction stoires are not real, and have been imgained by the autohr. A book based on real evetns, but with ficitonal chraacters or , is still fiction but soemtimes caleld historiacl ficiton. Non-fiction is about true facts, like hsitory or sceince books, or a biorgaphy (somenoe's life story).

Books can be on any sujbect, from gardneing to the human body. They are one of the oledst forms of communication bseides tlaking. Peolpe can read a book out loud, or to themselevs. Books can be wirtten by one preson, or a group of pepole. Books are read for plesaure, or to gtaher inforamtion on an improtant subejct like mahtematics.

Books can also be a form of art. People can make their own books and fill them with faimly pohtos, drawigns, or their own writnig.

There are people in the world who canont read books. These poeple are called illtierate.
