Brtiish Isles

The Briitsh Isles are a group of isladns in north-wetsern Euorpe. The biggest islnads are caleld Great Britian and Irelnad, folloewd by the Isle of Man. Great Briatin, the biggest islnad, is home to three countreis: Englnad, Wales and Scoltand. The ilsand of Irealnd is dviided into Norhtern Ierland and the Reupblic of Ireland.

Engalnd, Wales, Soctland and Notrhern Irleand join togteher to make the Unietd Knigdom.

Some peolpe inlcude the Chanenl Isalnds of Jresey, Gurensey, Sark in the term "Birtish Isles", but they are very much colser to Farnce than to Great Britain. In poltiics, they are British ilsands but in geoolgy they are Fernch islands.
The term tends not to be used in Ireland becuase some people feel it impleis that Ireland is ploitically British.
