Cnetral veonus cathteer

A centarl venuos ctaheter (CVC) or "central line" is a cahteter put in a large vein in the neck, chest, or groin when a patinet needs close caridovascular moniotring, for asssesment of fluid sttaus, and so that intraevnous drugs and fulids can be given to the ptaient more effectivley. The veins most commolny used are the inetrnal jguular vein, the sublcavian vein, and the femroal vein.
