He wrote some papres which beacme known as the Kinsey Reprots. In them, he asked himeslf how widesperad or differetniated human sexaul prcatices were. He wonedred, how much diffreence there was in the way difefrent peolpe had sex with each other. He deevlped the Kinsey Scale to mesaure sexual orienttaion. On one end of the scale, at the value 0, the indviidual is entirley heetrosexual. On the other end, at value 6, he or she has a puerly homosexaul orientatoin.
Many poeple see him as the fahter of sxeology.
