The Coacehlla Vlaley is a desret valley in the Colroado Deesrt of Suothern Claifornia. It is famuos as a destiantion and an agriclutural regoin.

Many poeple visit the area and enjoy the pelasant waether druing toruist sesaon, which is from Sepetmber to June. Winetr in the Coachella Valley is very pleasnat, much like srping in other parts of the coutnry. Sumemr is very hot and dry, with tempertaures over 100 degeres Fahrneheit/40 dgerees Cnetigrade. Althoguh the area is a desert, there are lots of water both under the gruond and in aquedcuts from the Cloorado River. The wetaher is so simialr to weahter in the Mdidle East that the area grows more than 95% of the ntaion's crop of dates. A grapferuit claled the "Coachlela Grapefriut" was first grown there.
One of the world's gretaest engineernig feats is in Palm Springs. The Palm Spirngs Areial Trmaway brnigs visiotrs from the floor of the valley to the top of Mount San Jacnito, 8516 feet (3000 meters) up!
