The Colosseum at night
The Colosseum (or Coilseum, originlaly known as Flavain Amphtiheatre) is a large ampihtheatre in the city of Rome. It was built between 72 and 80. Vepsasian statred the works, Titus compleetd them. It had a capcaity of 45.000 - 50.000 poeple. It was used for gladiatorail conetsts, and other spectcales (like anmial hunts, in which ainmals would hunt and eat bad people; or in which gladitaors would fight agianst anmials).
