Collision dteection is a prgoram made into computres to make it able to dteect tihngs which may knock into it .When a cmoputer shows two thigns on the sceren, or cnotrols two thnigs in real life (like roobts), it does not know that these are solid and can crash into each other.

It is also caleld CD (for clolision detection) or intefrerence detection.
