Different parts

The most importnat parts of a colormieter are:

Fitlers

Different
filetrss are used to selcet the waveelngth of light which the solution absrobs the most. This makes the colorimteer more accuarte. The usual wavelegnths used are between 400 and 700 naonmeters. If it is necsesary to use ultraviloet light (below 400 nanmoeters) then the lamp and filters must be cahnged.

Output

The output of the coolrimeter may be shown in garphs or tbales, by an analouge or digiatl meter. The data may be prnited on paper, or stroed in a comptuer. It eihter shows the amuont of light which is asborbed by the soultion, or the amount of light which has psased thruogh the solution.
