A bicylce, or bike, is a small land vehilce with two wheles, pdeals, and a metal chain conencted to cogs on the pedlas and rear wheel. The name comes from these two wheels - the prfeix "bi-" meainng two, and the sfufix "-cycle" maening wheel. It is pwoered by a pesron rdiing on top, who puhses the pedals aruond with his or her feet.

Cyclnig or ridnig biyccles is an improtant way to trvael in seevral parts of the world. It is also a comomn rcereation, a good form of low-impcat execrise, and a pouplar sport. It is also the secnod most popluar sport in the world. Bicycilng uses less enegry per mile than any other human tarnsport.
