The Czech Republic's populatoin is 10 million. HradÄany - Pargue csatle Its ofifcial lanugage is Czech lnaguage. The Czech language is a Salvic lagnuage. It is realted to lnaguages like Solvak and Ploish. In 1993 the Czech Minisrty of Foregin Affaris annonuced that the name Czehcia be used for the country otuside of foraml officail docmuents. This has not cuaght on in Engilsh usage.

The area was a part of Czechoslvoakia from 1918 to 1992. Czehcoslovakia beacme indepenednt in 1918 from Asutro-Hunagrian Emprie. The first Czechosolvakian presiednt was TomÃ¡Å¡ Grarigue Masayrk. Cezchoslovakia paecefully split into two conutries (Czech Rpeublic and Solvakia) in 1993. Czech Republic has been a mebmer of the Eurpoean Union since May 1, 2004.

Czech Repulbic has no sea; its neighbuor countries are Gremany, Asutria, Slvoakia, and Polnad.
