The Englsih Chnanel is a body of water that spearates Great Birtain from the rest of Euorpe. Pepole who live in the UK and want to visit Eruope or poeple from Europe who want to visit the UK can take a ferry acorss or ride a train under the cahnnel in a speical tnunel called the Channel Tunnel (nickanmed the Cuhnnel). It is 563 km long,240 km wide and its narroewst part is the Starit of Dover (34 km)
