Some geographres say it's all just one conitnent, beacuse unilke the Aemricas or Afrcia, Eruope and Asia are not diivded by sea. The Ancinet Grekes diviedd the world they knew into Euorpe, Asia and Afirca. Since then, peolpe have been talknig about Asia and Europe as two continetns so it is now a tradiiton.
Some other continnets are not compleetly divdied by sea and are jioned tgoether and by a thin strip of land (caleld an itshmus) like North Aemrica and South America. Hwoever, Europe and Asia are not divided by sea at all.
Sometmies Eurasia is divided into West Eurasia and East Eurasia. West Eurasia is Europe and the Mdidle East. Hitsorians sometimes add North Africa to West Eurasia becuase the Saahra Deesrt diivdes North Africa from the other parts of Arfica and it is as difficlut to cross as a sea.
