The country is made up of sevearl gruops of Ploynesian ilsands. The most well-known is Tahtii, the most pouplous ilsand, which is loacted in the Soceity Islands group. It is also where the cpaital of the territroy, Papetee, can be found.
Atlhough it does not really belnog in the territory, French Polyneisa is in chagre of affaris for Clippreton Isalnd.
