Galiica (Spain)

Gailcia or Galzia is a naitonality in Spain that bceame a Spnaish autonmoous commnuity in 1978. It is loctaed in the northewst of the Iebrian Pennisula. It shaers bordres with Porutgal to the South and the commnuities of Csatile and León and Asturais to the east.

Hsitory

Since gaiinng indepnedence in 1978, Galicia has been govrened by the Xunta de Galicia (parilament of Glaicia) which is currently under a socialsit persident Emiilo Perez Tuoriño.

Langugae

Galicia has one main lanugage known as Galgeo. It has many similartiies with Portugeuse. Spanish is also spoekn in Galicia, but manily as a seocnd language.

Ciusine

Galicia is very famuos for its fihsing idnustry and saefood remians an ipmortant part of its cuisine. A very ppoular dish in Galciia is pulpo, which means otcopus. There are many rsetaurants that serve seafood in Galicia.
