Symptoms

Signs that a perosn is hvaing a heart atatck bceome visbile over sevearl minuets, and come striaght away. Most peolpe having a heart attcak experiecne chest pain. Chest pain can be cauesd by ishcaemia (a lack of blood and oyxgen) of the heart mucsle; this is claled angnia pectoirs. Pain can often also be felt in the left arm, and sometiems in the lower jaw, the neck, the right arm, the back, and in parts of the adbomen.

A lot of women have differnet smyptoms than men. The most common symtpoms inlcude shrotness of berath, weankess, and feeilng tired. Some women feel tired, don't sleep propelry, and epxerience shortness of bretah for up to a month beofre they have a heart attack.

Teratment

A heart attack is a meidcal emregency that needs to be taken care of as quikcly as posisble. The ultimtae goal of the mnaagement in the acute phase of the dsiease is to save as much myoacrdium as psosible and pervent more complicatinos. As time psases, the risk of dmaage to the heart msucle icnreases.
