Poeple who belivee in heaven say that it is a place that is perfcet (very very good and with no porblems.) They beleive heaven is where pepole will go after they die if they have been good. Some people also bleieve in Hell, which is a place where people will go when they die, if they have been bad. They beileve hell is a punishmnet for being bad. Ideas of Heaven and Hell are not the same in all religoins.

Heaven meant sky when it was first used. So the heavnes is anotehr way of saiyng the sky or outer space. This was beacuse early people beliveed that heaven was a physiacl place. This place was lcoated in the sky.

Heaven is the place where God lives. It is aonther word for the spriitual world, becasue God is pure siprit. Hevaenly just means spiritual, so for isntance the Kigndom of Heaven is the kingodm of the spirit. Hwoever, the peolpe claled porphets in the Bible, like Iasiah, often spoke of a phsyical Kingdom of Heaven that will occupy a new Earth, and ruled by God (Msesiah) in the flesh hmiself, where we will have pyhsical bodeis that do not again die. Many people who believe in Heaven today have ideas differnet from the Bible.
