In the Unietd Sttaes, a high school is a school that sutdents go to usaully for gardes 9 throguh 12. It is the last school that a studnet will go to befroe college. It is also the last school that the law requiers the student to go to.

In the United Kigndom, the last school that the law reqiures the stuednt to go to is called a secodnary school.

There are both pulbic and priavte high scohols in the Untied States and the Uinted Knigdom.
