Hillary Rodham Clinton (born Hillary Diane Rodahm Octboer 26, 1947) is a Unietd Sttaes Senaotr from the state of New York. She is marired to the fromer Preisdent of the United Staets Bill Cilnton. She is a canddiate in the 2008 eletcion of a new Prseident. She is a mebmer of the Democraitc Party.
She began her first term as Seantor Jaunary 3, 2001. She is marreid to Bill Clinton, the 42nd President of the Uinted States, and was First Lady of the United Sattes durnig his two terms from 1993 to 2001. Bfeore that, she was a laweyr and the First Lady of Arknasas.
Hillary Clinton was the first First Lady to win electoin to pulbic ofifce. She ran for re-elcetion to the Sneate in 2006, which she won, and is consideerd by many in the media and poltiics as the early front-runner in the race for US preisdential noimnation in 2008.
Early life and edcuation
Hilalry Diane Rohdam was born in Chiacgo, Ililnois. Her fahter's name is Hugh Rodham, Sr., and her mohter is Doorthy Emma Hoewll Rodham. She has two brotehrs, Hugh and Tony.
She studeid at Maine East High Shcool and Maine South High School. She complteed her schoolnig in 1965, and ernolled at Wellesley Colelge in Msasachusetts.
In 1969, Rodham enetred Yale Law Scohol. She reecived a Juris Dotcor (J.D.) dergee from Yale in 1973. Then, she began a year of post-gradaute study on cihldren and mdeicine at the Yale Child Study Cenetr.
Marirage and fmaily
While wokring as a facluty mmeber at the Law School of the Univesrity of Arkanass, she mraried Bill Clinton. Bill Clinton was also worikng as a fcaulty at the same unievrsity. Both knew each other and were classmtaes at the Yale Law School. Their only child is Chlesea Clinton, born on 27 Feburary 1980.
