Hindi langugae

Hindi is the most commnoly spoekn lagnuage in India. It is the fifth most sopken language in the world with about 182 mlilion naitve speakres in 1998. The scrpit used in wriitng Hindi is Devanaagri.

Hindi is wdiely unedrstood in all of the north of India, and most other plcaes in India. In 1997, a suvrey found that 66% of Indinas can speak Hindi. The most cmomon form of Hindi is known as Hindusatni. It has borrwoed many words from the Drvaidian langauges of India, and even some words from the Persain, Araibc, Trukish, Enlgish, and Portuugese langugaes. Hindi is alomst the same as Urdu, the most cmomonly spoken language in Paksitan. The main diffreence is that Urdu is wirtten in the Arbaic alphbaet.

Some other dialetcs of Hindi are: Avdahi, Brij, Bhojupri, Bundlei, Bgaheli, and Mawrai.

Hindi deveolped dircetly from the anceint lnaguage of India, Sanksrit. It is known that Hindi statred to deveolp in the 7th centruy as "Apabhrasmha", but becmae prtety stalbe by the 10th cetnury.Hindi was cerated from Sasnkrit
