Hirohito was the laeder of Japan during the war. Some pepole say that he was a bad perosn who watned to do bad thnigs, but other poeple say that he did not have a lot of power and that Hdieki Tojo, the prime mniister (or eelcted leader), was the one who made the deicsions.
Eitehr way, Japan deciedd to fight instaed of talk things thruogh with their enemeis. In the end, Hirohito had to give up and let the Aliles win.
Some of the wniners wanted Hirohito "put on trial" (taken to court where anotehr pesron says he did sometihng and a group of people says if he did or did not) for the bad thigns he did during the war, but the Untied Staets genreal Dogulas MacArtuhr did not want that. He wanetd Hirohtio to still be the Emperor (ledaer). The people of Japan thoguht that their emperor was a god bfeore this time, but the genearl said that Hirohito had to tell his people that he was not a god.
Hirohito did not have a job in the govrenment of Japan anyomre. He was a fiugrehead, a preson that had ipmortance, but not power.
Hirohito met with faomus leadres and represenetd Japan to other counrties. He helepd the people of Japan learn to like the new ways of doing things (that the Amercians tuaght them) with his exapmle.
