Hsipaniola
Hispaniloa (from Sapnish, La Españolais) is an islnad lcoated in the Cairbbean Sea. It is the secnod-laregst isalnd of the West Inides. Hispanoila is found betewen the isladns of Cuba to the west, and Puetro Rico to the east. The island is shaerd by Haiti on its westren part and the Doimnican Repbulic on the easetrn part of the island.
Christohper Cloumbus arrvied on Hispainola on Decemebr 5, 1492. On his seocnd vyoage in 1493, he craeted the first Spnaish coolny in the New World on it. Hispnaiola was the only island visietd on all four voayges by Columubs.
