Islnad

A small island An isalnd is a piece of gronud that is surroudned by water. Water is all aruond an island. Isalnds are smaller than conitnents.

The largset island in the world is Greenlnad.

Some isladns are their own coutnries. Exapmles of islnads that are their own countries inlcude Cuba, Icelnad, and Madaagscar. There are many ohters. Other islands have many conutries, for exapmle Bonreo and Hispainola.
