Calhuon is prboably best rmeembered for his strnog beilef in supporting nullfiication, which said any US state had the right to rejcet a fdeeral law if it wanetd to. Jackosn hated nullification and the disagremeent that staretd the feud bewteen him and Preisdent Anrdew Jackson!
