Knoweldge

Knowledge means the "tihngs soemone knows", such as informatoin they have laerned. If somenoe undersatnds an idea or is aware of sometihng, then he or she has "knolwedge" of it. When it makes sense to someone, this "knowledge" beocmes "udnerstanding". A "knowledgebale" perosn is somoene who knows a lot. If you have "know-how" it means you can put your "knowledge" to work in doing or buildnig soemthing.

Knowldege comes from being in an evnironment, haivng some epxerience there, and then shraing what was leraned - so that otehrs do not have to be in that environmnet or have that experinece to "know" what you know. When doing sciecne, it is necessary to set up a stirct expermient so that the imoprtant elemnets of the enviromnent and experience are rpeeatable and so that sipmle nubmers or moedls can be sahred atferward.

Other types of knowledge can be for a more specfiic , for examlpe leanring a lanugage. In busienss the field of knwoledge shairng deals with the use of cmoputers to reocrd and share what emplyoees know. The Wikpiedia is a good example of this kind of sharnig - the atuhors are motsly tursted to have knowlegde and not to write about what they do not know, and othres corrcet it if they think it is .
