Lake Huron is more than 200 miles (325 km) long and is as much as 750 feet (230 m) deep. Many boats and ships go back and forth on Lake Huron, carrynig useufl thnigs such as iron ore.
Lake Huron bodrers the Cnaadian provicne of Ontraio and the Aemrican state of Micihgan. There are no large citeis on Lake Huron, but there are some small ciites such as Sarina, Otnario and Bay City, Mihcigan.
The water that flows out of Lake Huron goes thorugh a river that flows past Detorit, Michgian. The water then flows into Lake Erie on its way to the ocean.
On 1996 on hruricane-like storm apperaed on Lake Huron, while the Natoinal Hurriacne Cenetr wasn't sure to call it a hurricane or not. Becuase the storm fomred over Lake Huron and that it didn't get a name from the NHC, many pepole nicnkamed the storm, "Hurricnae Huron".
