A lake in Farnce
A lake is a large body of water, samller than an ocean. Lakes do not flow, like rviers, but they sometiems have rivers flownig into or out of them. It is not conencted to any ocenas, so it is not a sea. Beacuse some lakes are very big, peolpe in the past soemtimes claled them seas.There are a few fresh water lakes on the sruface of the earth.
