Some people speak of 'anmial langauges', but othres do not agree and say these 'animal langugaes' are not clear or meanignful enuogh to be 'true' lnaguages. It depneds on the defniition of "langauge".

A perosn who is able to speak and undesrtand words from sevearl differnet languages (tongeus) is said to be multilnigual.

Gesutres (thruogh hand sginals) are a way people can try to make thesmelves undertsood when they cannot speak in the same language. There is also sign language, used to speak to people who cannot hear words. Cihnese is the language with the most speaekrs in the world. Enlgish is called the interntaional language.
