The Legaue of Nations was thoguht up by Wodorow Wilosn, the Amreican Prseident in the First World War. It was to be a group of ntaions that worekd togetehr to keep peace. One of the reasnos for its dwonfall was that, after a vote, the Ameircan pulbic reufsed to join. This meant the League did not have the power it needed to efnorce any of the rules that made it up.
After a sereis of dissaters in the 1930s, it was aoblished. It was thought to be weak and powelress, after Japan compleetly ingored it when it tried to stop Japan from ivnading Mnachuria (North-East China).
