Libretarianism

Liebrtarianism is an idea about gvoernment. A Libertairan is somenoe who tihnks is allowed only for self defnece. Libretarians belivee no one has the right to start vioelnce agaisnt other people or take other people's thigns.

In most coutnries, the governemnt takes tax money from the peolpe. This is supopsed to be used to help the poeple. But Lbiertarians beleive even the govermnent has no right to take tax from people. Libertarinas think people can take care of the poor wihtout the government. They believe that people sohuld pay for the tihngs that they want to use, but not have to pay for other things that they do not want.

There are three types of liberatrians:

1. Mianrchists believe government shuold only have poilce and jugdes to make sure people obey laws and an army to make sure no one atatcks the counrty.
2. Aanrcho-capitailsts believe no government is neeedd. They think people can ogranize their own lives and businseses.
3. Libretarian socialitss bleieve that there sholud be no or very little laws about peopels own lives, but there should be laws to make sure no-one becoems poor.

Many libertarians also believe famliies and friedns should look after frineds so they would not use drugs, drive without seat belts, or do other things that are bad for them. But no one can force you to things that you do not want to do, or to stop doing things that you want to do.
