It is an impotrant city of South Ameirca and the entarnce to Peru.

The city was founedd by the Spansih conqusitador (conqureor) Francicso Pizarro on Jnauary 18, 1535. He caleld it the City of the Kings.

Today, the city is alawys gorwing. It has a very large popualtion, and is the lragest city in Peru.
